SUBMIT YOUR CLUB
BULLETINS FOR DISTRICT AWARDS!!!
Deadline: January Council Meeting!
Please submit three (3) sets of your best three issues (nine total) for
submission
at the District level. There is no cover sheet as with other reports, however it
is
helpful to the judges if you do include your club name, club President and club
Editor.
Please be aware of guidelines for entering your bulletins for judging. Your
bulletins
SHOULD include: The GFWC and CFWC logo; Club name; Bulletin name; Date; Club
President and Editor; and Your President's Theme.
Don't be intimidated if you don't have computer capabilities. Judging is based
on
Content, originality, accuracy and neatness. Questions? Call Ruth Anderson
REGISTRATION/CREDENTIALS
Under the direction of Sherry Cooper and her committee. Please be sure that each
attending member of club registers with Credentials committee prior to being
seated.
Identify club affiliation and district or state position applicable.

RESERVATION PROCEDURE 9:00 A.M. DAY OF COUNCIL MEETING
One (1) club representative will present payment, in the form of a club check,
and pick up meal tickets for those attending. All checks must be made payable
to: CFWC Orange District. The check must be for the number of
reservations made to committee. If a member cannot attend, the meal must still
be paid for unless proper cancellation was made prior to deadline cancellation
date. Check are to be payable to CFWC Orange District.
The envelope with your tickets will be marked with your table number seating.
Only one person reports the number that will be attending from her club.
At that time, give the names of any GFWC/CFWC or District Officer from the club.
If you must make a change in the reservation, be sure to call the same
person with whom the original reservation was made. Please...
Absolutely NO additions or cancellations after deadline date.
Do not leave your reservations on a message machine.
DO NOT MAIL your reservation check prior to meeting.

Luncheon Fee: $23.00 per person

It is time to put the COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CONTEST report together! It is very
IMPORTANT to read the GFWC Manual page and answer every question completely.
This is your chance to brag about your project, use pictures, and let us know
why you chose
this project. The Narratives are not a NOVEL...be concise for the judges sake!
There is information regarding Community Improvement on the Internet under
CFWC.org.
DEADLINE FOR STATE IS MARCH 1, 2008. If you compete on the Orange District level
the DEADLINE IS THE JANUARY COUNCIL MEETING when other reports are due.
